my ai christmas experiment
usually, you know me for serious portraits, moody looks, and black & white. but yesterday, one day before christmas, i suddenly didn't feel like chasing the perfect edit anymore. i wanted to play.
what many don't know: i earned my first money as a programmer when i was 14. this old love flares up sometimes. so instead of posting the hundredth "perfect" christmas photo, i sat down at my computer yesterday, fired up google gemini ai studio, and built a small web app in a 4-hour sprint.
the result is my gift to you this year: an interactive christmas greeting.

how it works
- choose a motif: become a nutcracker, a ballerina, or let yourself be surprised.
- choose a style: from colorful comic looks to the classy "peter lindbergh" style.
- take a photo: funny faces, couple photos, or kids — the ai plays along with (almost) everything.
it's not perfect, it's "quick & dirty", but it's damn good fun. see it as a small timeout from reality.
